Good Luck Chuck is an upcoming 2007 comedy film starring Jessica Alba and Dane Cook.

This movie began filming in June 2006 in Vancouver and Edmonton, with some scenes shot in Los Angeles. It is currently in post-production.

Plot synopsis

When Chuck (Dane Cook) refused to kiss a goth girl when he was ten years old, she placed a curse on him: every single woman he sleeps with will break up with him and marry the next man she meets. Chuck soon realizes this pattern and becomes hopeful that single women will seek him out as a date, so they will soon find Mr. Right. He then meets Cam Wexler (Jessica Alba), a lovable but clumsy penguin trainer. (In one scene, Cam attempts to help Chuck fix the car, but instead her dress gets caught on the door, ripping off and showing her white underwear with a penguin on it, which humiliates her in front of Chuck and the viewers.) However, he finds himself in quite the pickle as she constantly tries to convince him to have sex, but he doesn't want her to marry someone else.

Rating

The film is rated R by the MPAA for sequences of strong sexual content including crude dialogue and nudity, language, and drug use.
