New pages patrol January 2025 Backlog drive

January 2025 Backlog Drive \| New pages patrol
On 1 January 2025, a one-month backlog drive for new pages patrol will begin in hopes of addressing the growing backlog. Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled. Each article review will earn 1 point, while each redirect review will earn 0.2 points. Streak awards will be given out based on consistently hitting point thresholds for each week of the drive. You Mentioned " Paid Editing " on my article

Recently you commented on my article " https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Hafilat_Card" which is a draft that " Comment: still reads just like an advert, do you work for them by any chance? "

First of all, I do not work for anybody. That is not a paid editing. I just found out that it's not covered by any Wikipedian. So, I wrote on it. Second, if you found anything promotional, you can remove that.

Dear theroadislong, I wrote the draft: Alef (company) article as best as I could, in a more neutral language, and removed any text that might be in favor of the company. But there is a problem. The details mentioned are not advertising 24/7DCT, but just mentioning what the company does and its achievements - what do you suggest I remove or edit? Can you give me the specific wordings so that I can understand better?

“just mentioning what the company does and its achievements” is pretty much the definition of advertising on Wikipedia. I declined your draft Draft:24/7 DCT because of this and the lack of evidence of passing WP:NORG.
