None of the sources is younger than 97 years. All those sources originated inside a close-knit White society of people engaged in falsifying history, see [[Lost Cause of the Confederacy]] or [[United Daughters of the Confederacy]]. The article doesn't mention that the "Confederate Memorial affairs" were in no way innocent. It's aim was clearly (as stated by nearly all 21st-century historians) to ensure [[White supremacy]].
