Hi! Nzd here. This page is mostly just a collection of Wiki(pedia) links, mostly for my own use, but probably useful to others too.

If you would like to say something to me, please use my Talk page. If you have arrived here because I reverted one of your edits, I'd be happy to answer any questions about that. In most cases though, this would have been due to one of the following reasons:

My main area of interest is association football, particularly West Ham United, and that's where most of my content creation is focused, but I'm also happy to do WikiGnome work to while away the time. My main task at the moment is to clean up and develop my previously created articles. The last articles I created were Harry White (1920s footballer), Charles Orford and John Page (footballer, born 1901).

As of 8 January 2019, I have 15,688 articles watchlisted, of which 4,922 are football-related.

Note: I'll be trying to take a step back from watchlist monitoring for a while as I'm finding it quite difficult to actually get on with my other tasks, and my backlog just keeps getting larger! Instead, I'll probably just keep an eye on West Ham articles.

As well as an auto-generated list of all West Ham-related articles, there are lists of my created pages and other contributions (related changes) and football-related reference works I own (along with some work-in-progress indexes). I have a basic template for new articles, a To Do list, and I'm working on a list of online sources (although this has been a low priority). There are also some notes of ongoing West Ham work. Feel free to check out my sandboxes via the links on the right.

Search URLs

[edit]

I use the Selection Context Search addon for Firefox to get to pages quickly via right-click. This my config:

  • Articles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=~$S$~&fulltext=Search
  • Article history: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=~$S$~&action=history
  • Deletion log: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&type=delete&page=~$S$~
  • Images: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?ns6=1&search=~$S$~&fulltext=Search
  • User talk page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:~$S$~
  • User contributions: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=~$S$~
  • User edit count: https://xtools.wmflabs.org/ec/en.wikipedia.org/~$S$~
  • Lookup IP address (Spiceworks): https://community.spiceworks.com/tools/ip-lookup/results?hostname=~$S$~
  • Google Wikipedia: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=~$S$~+site%3Aen.wikipedia.org
  • IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/find?q=~$S$~

I also use navigation popups for some of these tasks.
