DSC The Indian Navy's Diving Support Crafts (DSCs) are designed to perform diving operations in coastal waters and harbors. The Indian Navy is expected to receive all five DSCs in the financial year 2024-25. The DSCs were contracted to be built by Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL) in Kolkata in February 2021. The first DSC was manufactured at TRSL Shipyard in Bengal. Diving support vessels are important for both military and commercial diving. They are used for underwater work such as inspecting and maintaining pipelines, well-heads, and mobile platforms.[1]
