Christmas Non-Stop Carol is the first christmas covers album by Giza Studio recording label. It was released on 1 December 2010. The album consist of English cover songs of Christmas themed carols. The interprets includes new and old artist from recording label Giza Studio as well as Sakai Izumi's previously released musical sound.[1]
Background
The album consist of 16 tracks, included 15 with vocals and 1 as a instrumental.[1]
Zard originally recorded Can't take my eyes of you back in 1999 and released it as a EP single under same title in limited copies.[2] The arranger Takeshi Hayama used vocals from that time and added Christmas themed melody as a background.
The album includes final recordings of Rina Aiuchi and Saegusa Yuuka before their hiatus and band disband at the end of the year.[3][4]
In 2013, the vocalist of Garnet Crow, Yuri Nakamura performed Auld Lang Syne on their final live tour in an acoustic arrangement.[5]
Charting
The album debuted at #71 on the Oricon Weekly Albums Chart, selling more than 3,000 copies in first week.[6]
