Also, will you be making or translating more articles about Crimean Tatars (like Aliye Hacabadinova, the people of the Qaytarma ensamble, the producers of the Haytarma movie, rejected heroes like Emir Lyumanov and Ablyaz Kerimov, and others)? My account is new so I can't create articles yet but would love to help expand some stubs - but there aren't many Crimean Tatar stubs to work on right now since you are such a good writer and make so many good and long articles.--TheQirim (talk) 18:57, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

Kartlos Gharibashvili moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Kartlos Gharibashvili, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pyotr Masherov, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nevel. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:00, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Very interesting read and well-written, and something I would've never known about otherwise. There probably aren't any images available for such a topic, but I think just an infobox would be enough for b5 and B-Class. Cheers mate, KeeperOfThePeace (talk) 09:48, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect short description

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians of California has a short description that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The description s are helpful to people browsing an article. Please read the first first line on the article before adding a standard Short description to article. I corrected a few but it would be great if you went back and corrected the many tribe articles you have described as a reservation. Thanks Fettlemap (talk) 20:19, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Kartlos Gharibashvili

Short descriptions of "none" are correct

Hello, I've run into a couple of lists where you've changed the short description from "none" to "Wikipedia list article" or similar. That is not correct. The rational is described at WP:SDNONE. I'll correct the ones on my watchlist, but if there are others, please correct those too. Thanks and let me know if I can help with anything. SchreiberBike | ⌨  03:59, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!
I sincerely apologise for my incorrect edits; on mobile, the usage of "none" for the SD simply shows as if there was no SD, hence me making the edits. I wasn't able to see that an SD of "none" was already in place.
As far as I can recall, there should be no more which are not already reverted. However, if I do see any I have made, I will be certain to correct them.
Once again, sincerest apologies!
Mupper-san (talk) 04:07, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So interesting. I've found it difficult to edit on mobile and I seldom do it. Take care and keep up the good work. Also, please use edit summaries so other editors can tell why you've made an edit. SchreiberBike | ⌨  04:12, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much, and you keep up the good work as well! On the matter of edit summaries; I do tend to fully detail my changes and reasoning in edit summaries, but the automatic SD editor on mobile (for some reason) doesn't provide such things, so unfortunately, I'm not provided the opportunity to provide my reasoning while using it.
Mupper-san (talk) 04:18, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I noticed you are adding short descriptions to election articles again – they should be "none" as the article title is descriptive. Also this one was a parliamentary election, not a presidential one. Cheers, Number 57 19:48, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is incorrect - see German, American, French, and British elections for reference. Unlike some other articles, there is a precedent for articles about elections to have short descriptions.

sri lanka civil war

Hi your recent edits to the sri lankan civil war intro page, has removed almost all the references, even from the text that you preserved from the previous intro. This is a very heated and controversial article and has gone thought countless heated arguments and debates. Removing the sources is not a good idea, as most of the content of the intro can now be removed with a claim of "removing unsourced information". So i anticipate further conflicts if this is not rectified. Oz346 (talk) 12:41, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Oz346 To my knowledge, removing sources here shouldn't be a problem, as the introduction is meant to reflect information which is found in the rest of the article, which should be sourced. See Tony Blair or World War II, for example. The lead shouldn't introduce information only found in the lead, and, as such, sources are a better fit in parts of the article where the content actually originates from - at least, that's how I've always considered it.

Removing full birthnames from bio infoboxes

Howdy. Don't you think you should seek a consensus first, for removing full birth names from bio infoboxes? Would save you a waste of time, if editors revert all your deletions. GoodDay (talk) 07:01, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

GoodDay, I don't believe there's a need to build a consensus individually per article - especially it's reflected in the infobox (on visual editor) to "only use [birth_name] if different from name". As these aren't pseudonyms nor do they differ from the subject's most well-known name (except in certain cases, such as Bill Clinton), my point of view is that such edits are simply following that which the infobox creators intended for birth_name to be used for. Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. The best way to do this is to include it in your edit summary (e.g. “translated from nl.wiki”) and there’s also a translation template you can add to the talk page. I’ve added it for you. Happy editing and please leave a message on my talk page if you need any help Mccapra (talk) 05:08, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Mccapra
I haven't taken any information from other Wikipedias for Efimov's page. The sources are as stated in the page; Chesno, LB, and the Central Election Commission. I believe these sources are also used on Ukrainian Wikipedia for People's Deputies (and if so, entirely fairly given they contain a great deal of information about the subject), but beyond that, any similarities on Efimov's page are coincidental and based purely on the sources I used. Hopefully this clears up any confusion.

DYK for Crimean Mountain karst

On 4 March 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Crimean Mountain karst, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Crimean Mountain karst nature reserve in Ukraine has more than 1,000 natural karst cavities? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Crimean Mountain karst. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Crimean Mountain karst), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Central Belarus moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Central Belarus, is not suitable as written to remain published. Onel5969 TT me 15:43, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Onel5969 This article does include citations, though; it includes five general references, which are included in WP:CITETYPE as a type of citation (listed as "external sources", something which I believe is incorrect for that reason). This includes two sources which include the name of the region in the title. This article hardly has an absence of sources, simply an absence of inline sources. WP:GNG also does not mention specifically inline sources, but sources in general.
Mupper-san (talk) 17:01, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies, I used the wrong template. It is not that it is unsourced, rather there are large sections without sources. I moved it to draft to allow you to work on it. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. Onel5969 TT me 18:13, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Crimea help needed

First of all I just wanted to thank you for all your good work writing about Crimean Tatars and fighting ethnic cleansing in Wikipedia. Can you please move the page Emine Dzhaparova to her proper Crimean Tatar name Emine Ceppar please? I do not know why but when I try to move the page it will not let me move the page. Thank you for your great work!--TheQirim (talk) 18:22, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also, will you be making or translating more articles about Crimean Tatars (like Aliye Hacabadinova, the people of the Qaytarma ensamble, the producers of the Haytarma movie, rejected heroes like Emir Lyumanov and Ablyaz Kerimov, and others)? My account is new so I can't create articles yet but would love to help expand some stubs - but there aren't many Crimean Tatar stubs to work on right now since you are such a good writer and make so many good and long articles.--TheQirim (talk) 18:57, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
