The club was founded in 2001 and played in the Yorkshire & Humberside league before being promoted to North East Women's Premier League during the 2005–06 season. Just two years later they were champions of that league and were promoted to Northern Combination, but only stayed for two seasons and was back playing in the NEWPL. In 2011–12, the club merged with Beverley Town Ladies and in four years have gained promotion to the Women's Premier League Northern Division One after finishing champions of the 2014–15 season. |

In 2011–12, the club merged with Beverley Town Ladies and in four years have gained promotion to the Women's Premier League Northern Division One after finishing champions of the 2014–15 season.
