District Attorney
Should we include the District Attorney of a county in the infobox? I feel it may be useful. 2600:100C:A119:D49D:C449:8744:DADD:960A (talk) 00:56, 28 September 2023 (UTC)

Leader(s)

Maybe I'm just misreading the template instructions, but it implies that you can put multiple leaders in the infobox without actually saying how to do it. For instance, if a county has a County Mayor and a Vice Mayor (or equivalent), it seems like you can only put one, in the template. Am I missing something? nf utvol (talk) 15:35, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Here are pages that use |leader_title=. See Chester County, Pennsylvania, for an example of a place with multiple leaders and how the parameter is used. – Jonesey95 (talk) 17:13, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 16 November 2023 - pass through "module" parameter to Template:Infobox settlement

Infobox settlement lets callers embed child infoboxes inside it using |module=; see WP:IEmbed. I'd like to be able to do the same with . Could someone with template editing powers add the following, passing through the "module" parameter if present?

| module = {}

County executives and district attorneys

Should we include the county executive as well as the district attorney of a county? 2600:100C:A103:309B:8DBE:362A:250C:185D (talk) 01:46, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a directory, per WP:NOTDIRECTORY. In general I feel the absolute maximum number of people should be included in community infoboxes should be 1 or 2 top people max. For example, for cities (yeah I know this isn't a county), I feel that maybe the Mayor and City Manager is the most that should ever be included, because of WP:NOTDIRECTORY, so the same for counties too, only the top 1 or 2 people of power. • SbmeirowTalk23:48, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree here but what would encompass this? Both of these are pretty powerful in general. 2600:100C:A103:309B:78B5:8E87:10D3:39D (talk) 01:41, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hawaii Time Zone

Hawaii does not observe Daylight Savings Time, yet Hawaii is in the | timezone1_DST parameter, resulting in HADT appearing in the DST line on pages such as Kauai County, Hawaii, despite the fact that DST is not observed there. I think that Hawaii should be removed from here and released with something like Aleutian as only settlements in the Aleutian Islands use HADT. On second thought, change
HADT
to
{{#ifeq:{state}|Hawaii||HADT}}
