Bob McNeil is a New Zealand television journalist who worked for TV3 for over 20 years[1]. He was born in Wellington in 1943, and his childhood was spent in North Otago and Taranaki.
He worked at TV3 from its beginnings in 1989, and retired in 2010.
He wrote an autobiography titled News Travels, published in 2014[2].
He is the father of television presenter Sacha McNeil.
