Eileen is an an upcoming American feature film directed by William Oldroyd and starring Anne Hathaway and Thomasin Mackenzie. It is based on the Man Booker Prize shortlisted 2015 novel of the same name by Ottessa Moshfegh[1][2] and adapted into a screenplay by Moshfegh with her husband Luke Goebel.

Synopsis

Eileen is working at a prison in 1960s New England when a captivating and glamorous counsellor arrives and helps her access new facets of her personality but may be drawing her into something more dangerous.[3]
