== Include Renegade Dance? == |
|||
I feel that it would be worthwhile to include the Renegade dance (the TikTok dance trend set to the song [[Lottery|Lottery (K Camp song) |
|||
]] by K Camp in the dance section. The trend was responsible for the rise of stars like Charli D'Amelio and Addison Rae and serves as an interesting backdrop for issues relating to race and credit for internet content-creation. Additionally, there is a lack of TikTok trends in the dance section which seems like an oversight given the popularity of such trends on the app. DobroHoras (talk) 22:50, 21 January 2022 (UTC) |

Has the “Kirby falling down a cliff” meme been mentioned here yet? It’s basically a clip from the first episode of Kirby: Right Back at Ya (Hoshi no Kaabii) where King Dedede knocks Kirby off a cliff with his hammer. This meme has gained popularity lately, showing clips of characters falling only to quickly be replaced by the clip of Kirby falling down a cliff. I think this might have happened because of the reveal of Kazuya from Tekken in Super Smash Bros (at the end of his reveal trailer, he throws Kirby off a cliff, much like Dedede did) but I’m not completely sure. |
|||
Anyway, as a Kirby fan I find it really funny. I think someone should add it. |
|||
Speaking of which, has anyone here added Deltarune memes? The phrase “BIG SHOT!!” uttered by Spamton has been spreading around the internet like a computer virus. |
|||
… know what imma just go now. add Kirby. |

Q1: Why isn't (insert meme name here) mentioned in this article?
A1: Wikipedia is not an infinite repository of indiscriminate information; we cannot mention those phenomena which do not meet a standard of notability and verifiability. Q2: What does it take to make a new addition to the list?
A2: Memes must be proven of being notable for inclusion, using reliable sources that are verifiable. Q3: Why do all additions need sources?
A3: This is an enforcement of Wikipedia policy, to ensure that only factual detail is added, and to prevent synthesis and original research, which may pose problems such as factual errors and conflict of interest. Q4: Finding sources is boring. Can't somebody else do it?
A4: The burden of finding sources is on you, as the contributor, not on any other editor. Contributors are required to find credible sources on their own, and not rely on other editors in obtaining sources. |

Include Angry Birds
If Flappy Bird and Untitled Goose Game are on the list, Angry Birds should be on the list.

- We need reliable sources - those on that page are not really reliable. --Masem (t) 23:14, 18 September 2022 (UTC)
Edit Request
I'm not in the position to create an account at the moment, but I feel it would be prudent to include the MS Paint Adventures website under the Animation and Comics category. MSPA contains a few well known and well referenced comics, such as Jailbreak and Homestuck, which had a massive cult following during it's run in the early 2010s. Homestuck has been referred to both as a modern Gesamtkunstwerk as well as the "Ulysses Of the Internet" due in pert to it's complexity and length. I would normall WP:BE BOLD and add it myself, but the page is semi-protected and I cannot fetch the requisite references at the moment.

- References are required to demonstrate it as a phenomena, and should be high quality reliable sources Masem (t) 12:27, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
- Here's a collection of sources and references from the page for Homestuck. These few show not only a variety of sources, but also show precedent for the popularity of the comic at the time they were published.
