Bishops Castle Town Football Club is an football team based in Bishop's Castle, Shropshire, England. The team currently play in the Mid Wales Football League East Division, which is at the fourth tier of the Welsh football league system.
History
Bishops Castle Town FC were in the Montgomeryshire Football League for 25 years before joining to the Mercian League in 2010, to try and progress within the Shropshire football pyramid.
After problems travelling to matches, the club sought to rejoin the Montgomeryshire Football League in 2016. Their request was initially unsuccesful - but following on from an appeal to the Football Association of Wales, they were granted entry to Division Two.[2]
