Nia Caron is a Welsh television actress from Llwyn y Groes, Wales. She is best known for playing Anita Pierce in the long running soap Pobol y Cwm since 1999.[1]

Early life

Caron grew up in Llwyn y Groes near Tregaron, Ceredigion.[2] She is the daughter of the artist Ogwyn Davies.

She went on to study drama at Aberystwyth University.[citation needed]

Personal life

Caron is married to the musician Geraint Jarman. The two met while acting on the Welsh series Glas y Dorlan.[3]

They have two daughters, Hanna and Mared Jarman, and live in Cardiff.[4] Their youngest daughter, Mared is living with Stargardst disease.[5]
