Comments

So lets start the discussion. By the way, this is a contradictory statement: "Many Kurds had expected independence on the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire, and believed that the new Turkish republic had betrayed them — the Republic of Ararat was a culmination of this anger." I've removed the etymology of the word "Ararat" becuase it's already mentioned in the relevant article, Mount Ararat. Khoikhoi 06:10, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Which 'word Kurd' did I remove? That part about Mt Ararat is from Mount Ararat. DenizTC 06:08, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flag

I cannot find any sources that mention to the design of Mount Ararat on the flag. Most of sources said only Kurdistan flag, Independent Kurdistan flag, Kurdish flag with tricolor.

Naming

about real flag of Ararat Republic

I CHANGED TO REAL VERSION OF FLAG OF ARARAT REPUBLIC > I AM KURDISH AND YOU CAN NOT CHANGE MY HISTORY WITH UNREAL THINGSShewanKara (talk) 18:16, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

this so called flag is one of the most unrealistic flag ever, first the republic was not only around the ararat, second there are no real, non reliable sources.

stop with this nonsense. Qijik (talk) 13:26, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is no evidence of that flag you say before 1950 because it is based on the flag of Lady Fatima Assad Shahin

https://kurdistanmemoryprogramme.com/i-didnt-know-the-flag-i-made-for-the-kurds-would-be-so-important/.

Ms.Assad Shahin made this Dsign in her childhood and that was first version of this flag she was made it. after her design the second version was be Mahabad Republic Flag.

This version of the flag you are say was used by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (Mr. Barzani's party) before 1992. that was maded from Ms.Assad Shain Flag. I can also create photos to prove past designs, but it is incorrect. At present, nothing is left of the flag we are talking about and the flag you are talking about because it does not exist and has been destroyed ShewanKara (talk) 11:00, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
