Mansour Boutabout (Template:Lang-ar; born September 20, 1978 in Le Creusot) is an Algerian international football player who is currently playing for AS Excelsior in the Réunion Premier League.

Club career

In February 2010 USM Blida signed the forward from Belgian club KV Kortrijk. He was last known to be training with current Scottish Premier League champions Rangers F.C..[1]

On March 14, 2011, it was announced that Boutabout had joined Réunion-club AS Excelsior.[2]

International career

Boutabout received his first call-up to the Algerian National Team for a 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Niger on October 11, 2003.[3] He started the game and scored its only goal in the 62nd minute. A month later, he scored another two goals in the 6-0 win in the return leg against Niger.[4]

Boutabout was subsequently called up to be part of the Algerian 2004 African Nations Cup in Tunisia where he started 3 games in the competition without scoring a goal before the team lost in the quarter-finals to Morocco.

Boutabout's last cap came on March 26, 2008, in a friendly against DR Congo.[5]
