Thomas Tate (born 19 December 1965, Detroit MI) is retired American middleweight and super-middleweight professional boxer. His record was 41-7 (28KO).
He twice fought for world titles at middleweight, losing to Julian Jackson and Roy Jones Jr respectively. He twice challenged Sven Ottke unsuccessfully for the super-middleweight title.
He suffered a back injury whilst training to fight Joe Calzaghe and retired from the sport.
