According to the Crónica mexicáyotl, Tzihuactlayahuallohuatzin was a son of Tezozomoc , and ruler of the altepetl (ethnic state) of Azcapotzalco in the first half of the 1400s.
He was installed by his father as the ruler (tlatoani) of Tiliuhcan become the second ruler after Tlacacuitlahuatzin's death. His brothers were Aculnahuacatl Tzaqualcatl, Quaquapitzahuac, Epcoatl and Maxtla.[1]
