The section mentioning David Stoll is written in a very NPOV style: "David Stoll criticizes X group for doing Y action because of Z motives, but he's wrong, because he doesn't understand group X would never do Y action because they have W motives". I don't know enough about this subject or Wikipedia editing to handle this constructively - maybe the entire section should go, or maybe it should be written "David criticizes X group for doing Y action because of Z motives. However, X group believes that this is an inaccurate portrayal of their motives, and is officially opposed to Y action because of W motives." |

::Lol anyone with a brain could've guessed but you are not supposed to admit that the family or organization of the person in question is "reviewing" his page. That is a violation of wikipedia's conflict of interests policy. Colloquially it is shilling. The articles for religious sects and businesses on this site are truly in a sorry state because of people like you. Disgracefully partisan treatment of Colby and Dennett's book in this article too and the section is framed as if that book was the only controversy around Townsend, which if you are with SIL and/or friends with the family you know to be untrue. == Replacement of the word indians? == |
|||
I wonder if the words indian, indians and latin american indians can be rephrased. These were likely the phrases used at the time as they root in colonialism but it may be more clear if there is alternative language available to remove potential confusion between the indigenous populations of of south america and people native to the country india. (Potential editors should be careful not to replace words used in quotes.) [[User:Zzooeee|Zzooeee]] ([[User talk:Zzooeee|talk]]) 18:41, 20 October 2022 (UTC) |
