The link to lesson plan by a teacher is not too good either. There are better sources, more academic, for ex. Also books, like Fluency and Its Teaching, by Marie-Noelle Guillot, etc.So far the article has no real citations, not much sources, getting information form commercial website is no the best idea.Bialosz (talk) 16:44, 3 April 2016 (UTC) |

:Article needs a lot of work. |

:The original article lumped speech-language pathology and language acquisition understandings of fluency together under the heading "speech." This didn't seem appropriate for language fluency, which can also encompass one's reading, listening, and writing skills (not just speech skills). I separated these sections. |

:There seemed to be a bias inherent in the article that a "fluent" speaker of a language can't be highly proficient or bilingual, but fluency is just one term to characterize one's acquisition of and ability to use a language. A fluent speaker may have strong accuracy and complexity as well. Definitions of bilingualism are very polarized and unclear, so it seems biased to say someone who is a fluent speaker but illiterate is not bilingual. I added two additional reputable sources and took out some of the slant. Still needs a lot more.Magallag (talk) 02:14, 17 September 2017 (UTC) |
