Adfix

A mere dictionary definition. A template still in place recommends transfer to Wiktionary; it has been in Wiktionary all along. The term does appear elsewhere (example, example); but I haven't read anywhere that there's any more to it than that it's "prefix or suffix". It does indeed smell like a synonym of "affix"; but rather amazingly, it turns out not to be. It means "prefix or suffix"; whereas "affix" means "prefix or suffix or infix or circumfix [or, arguably, one or two other odds and sods]".
