Germany was known as the Holy Roman Catholic Empire of Germany. Additionally the Nordic and Scandinavian nations aren't Roman Catholic and have been known for centuries as Protestant, Lutheran Christianity. Christianity shares the same God as Judaism and Ten Commandments of God and Roman Catholicism has it's own God and commandments that differ as well as different biblical text.
