==About me==
I have lived in the Midlands of [[England]] all of my life. I am married. I have been fortunate to travel the world for both work and pleasure. In fact travel is one of my great passions. I am retired now but worked in a railway computing/IT arena but despite this I only started editing Wikipedia in Feb 2008. I am a [[Chartered Engineer (UK) | Chartered Engineer]], a [[European Engineer]] and in 2009 I became a Fellow of the [[Institution of Mechanical Engineers | IMechE]]. In Feb 2012, I became an Ambassador for the IMechE and [[Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Network | STEMNet]] as I really want to help young people become interested in technology and engineering.
