I added a link to a page with the spectra of these dyes yesterday and it was removed. I'm going to try adding the link again because it is important information for anyone considering the dyes to have. When I choose what fluorescent dye(s) to use, especially for any type of dual labeling experiment, I need to see the spectra. The spectra allow me to choose what pairs I can use.
The Wikipedia guidelines on links indicate that external links are appropriate when there is important information there that cannot be posted on this site. I don't have access to their images or the right to post them here - I just like the dyes. If you insist on removing such useful information, please provide an explanation. 68.117.138.137 06:52, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Flawed, then remove the entry altogether, because now, without spectra, it REALLY is useless advertisement. 145.97.208.249 (talk) 19:29, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
